Registering for the Practical Exam
You can register to take the Practical Exam once you have successfully passed the Written Exam. You have up to twelve (12) months after passing the Written Exam to register for the Practical Exam. If you do not register within this time period, note that you will need to re-take the Written Exam.
Before you register for the Practical Exam, make sure that you know and agree to all of the Certification Policies.
To register for the Practical Examination, please read the instructions below:
- Select and pay for the Practical Exam of your choosing in the online CCPO portal. Follow the directions carefully.
- Once payment is received, the Program Coordinator and Assessor will contact you to schedule your Practical Assessment appointment.
- The Assessor will work with you and your dispatcher to coordinate a mutually agreed-upon site, date, and time for your Practical Examination. The scheduled date will be updated in the online CCPO Portal.
Candidates requesting special accommodations
Arrangements for persons with disabilities will be provided upon request, in accordance with the CCPO Special Needs Accommodation Policy, Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms as well as the Canadian Human Rights Act.
